SmartAlec Wireless printing for Public


What is SmartAlec?  It's a cloud-based printing service that provides the public with the ability to upload documents from their personal devices and print from any of the five Print Release Stations here in the library.

Library cardholders can also use the SmartAlec mobile app for IOS or Andriod devices and print content from their mobile device.  All of which is tied to their SAM account.

Print jobs stay up on the hosted server for 7 days.

Customers log on to SmartAlec using their library card and pin. 


Once logged in customers can click on the upload option and choose documents to upload for printing.  Only pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, csv, txt, html, rtf, jpg, png, and bmp files are allowed.


Once the file has been selected and uploaded it will show a list of documents that can now be printed from any of the five print stations here in the library.
